Franco Fire Detection Ltd has appointed Alcumus PSM Ltd to provide a professional approach to the establishment of good Health & Safety policies and practices.
The ECS card displays the qualifications and status of
electrical professionals, allowing clients and employers to view the
cardholder's industry skills, qualification levels, occupation and identity
when working on site. The ECS is
affiliated to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). The ECS card
is a CSCS Card relevant to the electro technical industry.
Our on site operatives carry the ECS card.
The IPAF training programme for platform operators is
certified by TÜV as conforming to ISO 18878. Franco operatives have been awarded
the PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) as proof of training.

The
PASMA card is proof of competency when using mobile access towers. Competent to
a legal standard means more than the ability to assemble and dismantle a mobile
tower, although this is a basic part of the standard PASMA course. Our dedicated mobile access team are fully qualified and hold PASMA cards.
IOSH stands for the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. Based in the UK, but with members around the globe, it’s a not-for-profit organisation. It is also the Chartered body for health and safety professionals; aiming to raise standards and regulate the profession. Its work includes developing and promoting a code of conduct, as well as developing and accrediting safety training courses. Our Health & Safety Manager holds a current IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
